Minor in Music Theory

Admission to the minor in Music Theory requires successful completion of the music theory placement exam. The minor provides students with an opportunity to complete basic music theory, sight singing, and keyboard classes which are typically reserved for music majors. Some familiarity with musical notation and music theoretical concepts is required. 

Queens College students in good standing from any undergraduate program are encouraged to apply.
