Welcome to the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College, CUNY.

The Aaron Copland School of Music offers a high-quality conservatory-style education, offering degrees and certificates in classical performance, music education, classical composition, jazz performance and composition, musicology, music theory, and music production. We pride ourselves on our rigorous academic and musical offerings, on the low cost of our degree programs, and the wide-ranging accomplishments of our faculty members.

Our school is housed in a purpose-built facility, including a world-class concert hall, three further performance spaces, two recording studios, over forty practice rooms, Steinway pianos in all classrooms and performance studios, and a renowned music library. The campus of Queens College provides green spaces, a gym, a residential hall, libraries, computer rooms, dining halls: a veritable college campus in the heart of the greatest city in the world.

Feel free to call the music department office with any questions you may have that are not answered on our website. Prospective students can also visit the Aaron Copland School of Music, observe classes, meet with advisors and program coordinators, and tour the facilities. From afar you can browse our YouTube channel and get a sense of the many performances that take place at the school.
