Program Information

Location & Dates:​

Location: Seoul, South Korea

NY departure and return dates: June 26, 2023 – August 3, 2023

Arrive in Seoul: June 27, 2023

Return from Seoul: August 3, 2023

 

Course Information:​

Faculty: Korea University
Housing: Student dormitories
Credits & Courses: 6 credits total (2 three-credit classes–several course options below)

  • Each student must select 2 of the following courses (3 credits each for a total of 6 credits).
  • Please note the class hours to avoid time conflicts.

 

COURSES (Pick 2)

You must enroll in 6 credits.  Each class is worth 3 credits.  Pick 2 courses, and make sure that the class times do not interfere with each other.

Business and Management in Contemporary Korea:

  Mon-Thurs 10:50AM-12:30PM  (Syllabus)

Korea Cinema and Visual Culture:

  Mon-Thurs 1:10PM-2:50PM       (Syllabus)

Contemporary Korean Society:

  Mon-Thurs 3PM-4:40PM            (Syllabus)

Introduction to Psychology:

  Mon-Thurs 9AM-10:40AM          (Syllabus)

Mass Media and Popular Culture in Korea:

  Mon- Thurs 10:50AM-12:30PM  (Syllabus)

Korean Language (all levels):

  Mon-Thurs 4:50PM-6:30PM       (Syllabus)

Cost Paid to Study Abroad Office: $1640

– Programs are open to all undergraduate students from all CUNY campuses (unless restricted by level of study, language fluency, or other program criteria)

– Some programs may require travel on Fridays and some Saturdays
