Requirements for Specialized Majors

A. Communication Sciences and Disorders (Speech Pathology): Student must make a formal application to be admitted to the major. A student must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 (B) and 24 completed credits from a regionally accredited college or university. Transfer students must be admitted both by Queens College and the major before registration into any major courses.  CMSCI-BA

B. All undergraduate music applicants must audition and and take the music placement exam, which includes a written test in rudiments, melodic diction, and general knowledge of music.

C. Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA):
There are three majors Corporate Finance; International Business; and Actuarial Studies. A formal application to the Economics Department is required. Completion of four core courses--Economics 101 and 102 and Accounting 101 and 102--with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0. FINAN-BBA

Neuroscience Major: Student needs a separate application and a minimum 3.0 GPA overall and 3.0 GPA for neuroscience major courses. Also, during at least one semester in residence at Queens College, student must have completed a minimum of 7 credits of the major.
