The Queens College Ad Hoc Working Group on Reopening is charged with safely bringing the community back to campus in accordance with the Governor’s NY Forward and the Mayor’s NYC Restart plans. Comprising members of the faculty, administration, staff, and student body (list below), the Working Group is planning for reopening physical use of campus space for academic instruction and other in-person programs and support services.

Among the considerations are New York State and New York City guidance, CUNY directives and guidance, CDC guidance, technology, budget, commuting, college operational needs, and sanitation logistics. Smaller working groups with additional college administrators, faculty, and staff will be established as needed to focus on a specific issues likewise, the Working Group may consult with various stakeholder groups as necessary.
