Luc Marest is a Lecturer in the Department of Economics at Queens College, City University of New York. His research interests include monetary theory and policy, business cycle theory, finance, financial markets, trading, and international finance. Luc Marest’s career started in France at Bouygues, one of the world’s largest construction companies where he was a project manager. He worked also on Wall Street as a trader for Worldco, LLC. Luc Marest holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from L’Ecole Speciale des Travaux Publics, Paris, France, an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a Ph.D. from the Department of Economics at the City University of New York, the Graduate Center.
