Announcements, News, and Events

On Monday, August 23, Mayor de Blasio, Commissioner Chokshi, and Chancellor Porter made an important announcement about health and safety requirements for all NYCDOE employees to ensure we are doing all we can to keep our school communities and colleagues safe. Effective September 27, all DOE employees will be required to provide proof that they have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. This vaccination requirement now applies to all student teachers and field work candidates engaging in clinical preparation in NYCDOE schools this fall. Information is coming soon regarding the process for verifying proof of vaccination.
