Zavi has over 20 years experience in teaching, developing innovative programs and career coaching/counseling. She is very passionate about educating, engaging and empowering Queens College students towards career success and social mobility. Zavi enjoys going to Bounce U and bowling with her two children.

Liz has over 25 years of experience in education, business, and human resources. She enjoys connecting with students and guiding them through their career education experience at Queens College. Seeing the success of her students and building valuable relationships with employers and alumni are also an important part of her role. In her spare time she enjoys running, boating, and traveling with her friends and family.
Associate Director of Alumni & Employer Engagement
Diane has over 30 years experience having spent 25+ years working in Human Resources for various financial service organizations-- in her most recent venture, she ran Campus Recruiting for Investment Banking and Capital Markets at Bank of America. Diane joined QC five years ago as a Career Coach in Economics, Finance and Business. Diane is an alum of QC (undergrad) and Baruch (Grad). Diane loves to read, travel to different countries and go to the beach. Diane also teaches one of the World of Work classes offered here by the center.
Associate Director of Career Education and Internships
Lisa Louis-Marijanski has over 15 years of professional work experience including leadership development, teaching, coaching, team building, analyzing data and evaluating programs. As a Queens College alumna, she is eager to deftly apply her savoir-faire to provide assistance to students. Lisa speaks Haitian-Creole and French conversationally. She adheres to the QC motto "we learn so that we may serve" and volunteers with The Bowery Mission which educates and rehabilitates those experiencing homelessness, hunger and crises in New York City. Lisa also enjoys karaoke, cooking, and playing Scrabble.
Career Educator and Specialist
Karen's favorite place to be is the beach. She enjoys the sand and warm weather. She is a fan of many movies and can’t decide which one she loves the most. Karen enjoys lying under a hammock under a tree when she wants to relax.
CUNY LEADS Support Specialist
Kristina has over 13 years of experience in Mental Health Counseling and Career Counseling. She is also a Disabilities Rights Advocate. Kristina is also a published author. She published her first book of poetry, “Words As Weapons”, in November 2017. Her favorite book and movie is ‘Gone With the Wind’. In her spare time she enjoys writing, reading and listening to music.
Alumni and Employer Engagement Specialist
David has a strong interest in relationship building and personal and professional development cultivated through undergraduate studies in industrial and organizational psychology, reading human development books and experiences in sales, human resources, real estate and counseling. He has worked for NASA, Keller Williams NYC, and Nature Publishing Group, and has also completed an Olympic Triathlon. His favorite movie is Mission Impossible. David’s hobbies include reading personal and professional development books, exercising and attending networking events.

Eleanor has 20 years of experience in education, teaching and business. She enjoys helping students succeed in the business field by connecting them with specific internships and recruiters. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her kids and travel to other countries.

Cathy enjoys taking long walks and reading novels in her spare time. Cathy also speaks fluent Italian and lived in Italy for many years. She loves to try different cuisines from different cultures all over the world. Cathy’s favorite movie is My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
Tithung Dan Ma
Tech Assistant & Customer Service Engagement
Dan is originally from Hong Kong, China. He enjoys his trips back to China to visit his family and friends and have some good authentic Chinese cuisine. Dan’s favorite movie is Casablanca. His hobbies are listening to music, watching movies and reading literature.
Taihong Tai Kim
Tai was born in South Korea and raised in Flushing for most of his life. He is pursuing his Master’s in Mental Health Counseling here at Queens College. Tai enjoys running, watching Hulu and hanging out with his friends on the weekends. His favorite movie is District 9.
Anthony has an interest in government and is an avid follower of the day to day news cycle. He is a Google CSSI Extension alumnus, a freshman computer science opportunity, and is currently studying Computer Science at Queens College. Anthony is a member of the Honors program and is a recipient of the Dana/Magnus Endowed Scholarship for displaying past and future commitments to excel academically.
Work, Learn & Grow Intern
Maryam Rahman is a senior at Townsend Harris High School. She has been a photography intern, a website development intern, and a social media content creator. She has also had her photography and videography work showcased in small-scale exhibits and pop-up shows. She aims to explore opportunities that allow her to learn design skills that she can apply to her future career as an architect.
