Important Notice Regarding QC Summer Camp

We have made the very difficult decision to forego camp this season. To our QC Summer Camp families, we extend our sincerest appreciation for your ongoing loyalty and support during these unprecedented and ever-changing times. Click here for more information.
The Queens College Ad Hoc Working Group on Reopening has been formed and is beginning its work to safely bring the community back to campus in accordance with the Governor’s NY Forward and the Mayor’s NYC Restart plans. Comprised of members of the faculty, administration, staff, and student body (list below), the Working Group is charged with planning for reopening physical use of campus space for academic instruction and other in-person activities with an emphasis on the Fall 2020 semester.

Among the considerations are NY State and NY City guidance, CUNY Central Office directives and guidance, CDC guidance, technology, budget, commuting, College operational needs, and sanitation logistics. Smaller working groups with additional college administrators, faculty, and staff will be established as needed to focus on a specific issue; likewise, the Working Group may consult with various stakeholder groups as it becomes necessary. Updated information will be will provided as the plan evolves.

While the majority of college functions continue to operate remotely, the physical campus remains open with limited access for essential personnel only. Personnel with a valid reason to access the campus may request permission from their chair, dean, or supervisor in conjunction with the Department of Public Safety.
