About Us
In 2021 through collaboration with the Jed Foundation, Project Wellness assessed and targeted key areas of holistic support for the Queens College community. We determined there was a need for life skills development, social connectedness, at-risk student identification, and mental health services (with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion) for the college community.
Project Wellness recognizes the exacerbation of the national mental health crisis by recent events, including COVID-19, socioeconomic inequity, racial unrest, war, and other global concerns; and we see the need for a collaborative community effort to address these issues. Project Wellness is dedicated to strengthening and delivering programs that support the well-being of our campus community and we are committed to establishing a culture of care and community that promotes the mental health and well-being of students, faculty, and staff at Queens College.
