Welcome to the Office of Financial Aid Services

Welcome to the Queens College Financial Aid Office. We are committed to providing accurate and up-to-date information about financial aid programs and helping students understand the aid they are eligible for. Our goal is to guide you through the process efficiently and in a student-friendly manner so you can focus on your education.

Grants

Grants are free money, based on eligible enrollment and financial need as determined partly through the FAFSA and TAP application processes.

Work-study

Work-study is part-time work, mostly on campus, awarded based on eligible enrollment.

Scholarship

Scholarships are free money based primarily on academic merit and eligible enrollment. Many also have a financial need requirement. These are not awarded through our office. See our scholarships resource page for details.

Loans

Loan programs can be very helpful, but don’t request more than you really need. Most federal student loans are awarded based on eligible enrollment and financial need as determined through the FAFSA application process. Loans must be repaid in accordance with a variety of rules and regulations.

Tuition/Bursar

This site will explain tuition and fees cost, the billing process, payment options, refunds and frequently asked questions.
