For the Fall semester, each FYE Peer Mentor works three hours per week where they offer students support with:
- Navigating campus services, such as connecting with academic departments, instructors’ office hours, and student organizations
- Informing students about different events and opportunites occurring around campus
- Providing unique insight into different majors, class offerings, and various internships

A Peer Mentor Can Help You With...
Time Management
- The skill of planning and organizing how you use your time. It helps you stay on track, meet your goals, and feel less stressed.
- We can help create a calendar, plan time, stay motivated, etc.
Academic Exploration
- Discovering what you enjoy, what your goals are, and how you can use your time at QC to achieve them.
- We can help you plan your schedule, pick a major, get involved on campus, learn about QC resources, etc.
Study Skills
- Tips and strategies that help you learn better, study smarter, and do well in your classes.
- We can help you explore different approaches to notetaking, studying, and test taking.
