FYE Peer Mentors
FYE Peer Mentors are trained to help new freshmen and transfer students acclimate to life at Queens College. They facilitate workshops, provide one-on-one academic support and guide you in the right direction for answering any and all QC questions.
FYE Office Hours
During the Fall and Spring semesters, each FYE Peer Mentor works three hours per week where they offer students support with:
- Navigating campus services, such as connecting with academic departments, instructors’ office hours, and student organizations
- Inform students about different events and opportunities around campus
- Offer unique insight into different majors, class offerings, and navigating internships
