Jane Guskin (she/they) is a PhD candidate in Sociology at the CUNY Graduate Center working on a dissertation about worker power during the 2006 immigrant rights mobilizations in the United States. Jane has been teaching Labor Studies classes as an adjunct in Urban Studies at Queens College since 2018 and is actively involved in the Professional Staff Congress, the union representing CUNY’s faculty and instructional staff.
