Minor in Music Literature

The minor in Music Literature is designed for students interested in the history of music, in music criticism, and in writing about music. The program is open to students with a wide variety of practical musical experience, from those who have studied an instrument or voice for many years but prefer to major in some other field, to those without music literacy skills of any kind. Queens College students in good standing from any undergraduate program are encouraged to apply. Interested students should complete MUS 1 “Introduction to Music” and speak with the program advisor in musicology.
