Pedagogies of Writing Workshop
Guiding students to write with, without, and against Generative AI
Facilitated by Amy Wan (Special Assistant to the Provost on Writing and Professor of English)
Join us to learn about how to revise your writing assignments in the age of generative AI. Whether you want students to write with, without or against this new technology, we’ll focus on how course and assignment goals can help us start to respond to genAI. We’ll talk about some data from Queens College students and faculty about generative AI use, but the focus of the event will be hands-on time to revise assignments, problem-solve, and discuss with one another.
All participants should bring an assignment to the workshop.
We will meet on February 23, 2026 from 12:15p-1:30p in the President’s Conference Room #2 (RO 525).
