Interim President Elizabeth Field Hendrey is the twelfth president of Queens College. As chief executive officer she has the responsibility for overseeing all aspects of the institution, delegating as appropriate. She coordinates with his cabinet, and, beyond that, the larger group of administrators on the President’s Council. Together with cabinet members she works collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, alumni, and external communities while respecting the principles of shared governance.

Stacey Amelia Romano is the director in the Office of the President at Queens College, CUNY, where she manages the day-to-day operations of the President’s Office and leads a dedicated team of administrative professionals. In this role, she oversees the college’s event planning office, producing high-level presidential and institutional events that reflect the mission and spirit of Queens College.
A three-time graduate of Hunter College, Romano holds an MFA, MA, and BA, reflecting her lifelong commitment to higher education and continuous learning.
