Admission requirements of the Accounting Department in addition to the general college requirements of graduate admissions.

  1. Applicants should have an undergraduate Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  2. All students should have earned an overall GPA of at least 3.0 in their undergraduate program. Additionally, accounting majors must have a GPA of at least 3.0 in their undergraduate accounting courses. For those students with an undergraduate degree in other than accounting, a GPA of at least 3.0 in their major subject is required.
  3. GMAT (may be waived under certain circumstances; consult the Accounting Graduate Program Director).
  4. Students who do not have an undergraduate degree in accounting are required to complete up to 41-credit prerequisite accounting core coursework with a minimum GPA of 3.0 before the 30-credit MS in Accounting courses.
