Meghan E. Healey
MEGHAN E. HEALEY is a costume, scenic, and puppet designer who specializes in new and experimental work and community-based practice. She has designed costumes and scenery for more than 120 world premiere productions, previously receiving recognition from OOBR, The Barrymore Awards, and is a prior ACE and Hola! Award winner for outstanding costume design. Her recent work includes My Onliness with Daniel Irizarry for the Sibiu International Theater Festival (One-Eighth/SOHO Rep/IRT), Bundle of Sticks by C. Julian Jímenez (INTAR NYC), NATIVE NATION by Larissa Fasthorse (ASU Gammage/Cornerstone Theater), and her own original installation/performance The Curious Cabinet. Her upcoming work includes the multi-media puppet show CATS! VIKING CATS! By RN Healey (cruel puppet collective), and Marie Antoinette for Queens College. She holds an MFA in Design for Stage from NYU’s Tisch School, is Chair of the Department of Drama, Theater, Dance and Fashion, and is the co-Artistic Director of Queens College’s School of Arts.
