Queens College Welcomes Jamie Dimon, Queens Native and Chairman and CEO of JPMorgan Chase, for a Discussion on Leadership, Talent Development, and Job Creation

WHAT: In this invitation-only fireside chat, Jamie Dimon, Queens Native and Chairman and CEO of JPMorgan Chase & Co., will talk to Queens College President Frank H. Wu about leadership, talent development, and the importance of public and private sector collaboration to drive job creation. The program will include a question-and-answer session for students and conclude with a networking reception.
WHO: Expected speakers include CUNY Chancellor Félix V. Matos Rodríguez, Queens College President Frank H. Wu, Executive Director of the New York Jobs CEO Council Kiersten Barnet.
Barnet will be available for media interviews before and after the event.

Background
Jamie Dimon is the founder of the New York Jobs CEO Council, an organization of more than 30 CEOs who have committed themselves to hiring 100,000 low-income New Yorkers, including 25,000 from CUNY. His appearance at the college is part of the Jobs Council’s CEO Speaker Series.
Among the audience members will be students from the college’s School of Business. Established in response to the projected workforce demand for business professionals in New York City, the school comprises programs in accounting, actuarial studies, economics, finance, international business, and risk management.
