The Office of Human Resources is dedicated to the development and implementation of programs, processes and policies that offers employee support and professional development to facilitate the achievement of the College’s mission.

Office of Human Resources Overview

The Office of Human Resources is divided into various teams that provide services in the following areas:

HR Employee & Labor Relations Tel: 718-997-4455 Email: aggrey.dechinea@qc.cuny.edu	Performs a wide variety of duties related to contract administration; grievance and arbitration issues; mediation of disputes on disciplinary and contractual matters; policy and procedure compliance; and adherence to local, state and federal laws governing employment practices.
HR Employee Services Tel: 718-997-4455 Email: ohr.employeeservices@qc.cuny.edu	Oversees employee onboarding and offboarding; new hire paperwork; faculty leaves; name, address, phone number, degree, marital status, and emergency contact updates.
HR Recruitment & Training Tel: 718-997-4455 Email: hire@qc.cuny.edu	Administers employee recruitment, evaluations, and training (LinkedIn Learning, workplace violence, eSPARC), and tuition waivers.
HR Compensation Tel: 718-997-5765 Email: ohr.payroll@qc.cuny.edu	Manages payroll, direct deposit, leave (annual and sick), and timesheet systems, including HR Assist and PR Assist. Also handles other forms of leave, including Paid Parental Leave (PPL) and Paid Family Leave (PFL), as well as Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
