Office Update

We are currently working by appointments, with limited in-person assistance available. We encourage students to review the list below and contact them with specific questions. Following CUNY UIPS and Queens College goals, the Immigrant Student Support Initiative has partnered with Queens College staff representatives from several offices to provide tailored guidance and receive updates and information to strengthen their support for the immigrant community on campus.

  • Financial and State Aid Support: For questions on regards of TAP, Dream Act or FAFSA for immigrant students, please schedule an appointment with Financial Aid at Queens College via Navigate or join their after-hours meetings via zoom (no registration required).
  • Admission Support: Prospective first year and transfer students seeking support should contact the Queens College Undergraduate Admissions Office at 718-997-5600 or Admissions@qc.cuny.edu.
  • Legal support – risk at detention, detained students, immigration court hearings, travels, loss or change of status: CUNY Community can request rapid response assistance by filling out this form (CUNY CIAP Program)
  • Legal Support – other cases: QC community can get free and confidential legal support by getting an appointment with CUNY Citizenship Now! Please call 646-347-4774 or email CitizenshipNowInfo@cuny.edu. You can also visit this website to review other legal resources.
  • The Dream.US Scholarship Support: Please contact The Dream.US liaison at vpsa@qc.cuny.edu. For questions on regards of internship stipend, you can visit this website.
  • Scholarship opportunities: We recommend you connect with the office of Honors and Scholarships to review internal scholarships or visit our virtual board for external opportunities.
