If you are an incoming Spring 2023 Transfer or Freshman:
Congratulations on your acceptance to Queens College! We look forward to you joining the QC Community!
Next steps: Once you officially accept your offer to Queens College, and pay your commitment deposit (if applicable), the next step is to attend a “New Student Advising” (NSA) session.
Your NSA session is a virtual one-on-one meeting with an academic advisor to discuss your academic interests and plan for your first semester. We also highly encourage you to consider getting a “head start” on your studies by taking winter classes.
NSA sessions will begin mid-December and invitations will be sent beginning mid-November. Invitations will be sent to your preferred email listed in CUNYfirst and will include a link to sign up for your individual advising session. Be sure to check both junk and spam folders (just in case!). If have any questions or concerns, please call the QC New Student Phone Line at (718) 997-5573 or email us at Advising@qc.cuny.edu.
We look forward to meeting with you soon!
Often referred to as “the Jewel of the CUNY system,” Queens College sits on 80 acres of land and is a place of contrast: an urban school in a suburban setting. It is a place where a large and diverse student body receives personalized attention. This formula has made us one of New York’s premier educational institutions.
Queens College’s Academic Advising Center seeks two Academic Advising Specialists who will coordinate and lead programming, initiatives, and supervise staff to provide centralized and integrated academic advising to incoming and continuing undergraduate students through the articulation, clarification, and navigation of degree requirements to foster timely and successful completion of the baccalaureate degree.
