ITS Communications and Web Technology lead the strategy, development, and execution of Queens College’s digital presence, ensuring the website is accessible and effective for communication, recruitment, and community outreach. Our team supports campus initiatives through event documentation, video production, and live-streaming services, as well as cascade communications to the College community on ITS-related initiatives, service changes, and upgrades.

The ISO serves as the central hub for safeguarding the institution’s digital and technological environment. It provides leadership in developing policies, practices, and strategies that protect critical systems and information resources while supporting the mission of the college. The office works closely with academic, administrative, and technical units to help manage risks, ensure compliance with regulations, and promote a culture of responsibility around the use of technology. Beyond defense, the office also plays an advisory role, helping campus leaders make informed decisions about technology adoption, data governance, and operational resilience.

In addition to maintaining and enhancing academic systems, the team collaborates with academic departments and research units to align technology solutions with pedagogical goals and research priorities, strengthening the institution’s academic mission.
