The Project Management Office serves as the institution’s hub for coordinating and guiding projects that support strategic goals and operational priorities. It establishes common standards, tools, and practices to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational needs. The office works across academic, administrative, and technical areas to provide oversight, improve resource use, and promote collaboration. The PMO also fosters accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement, helping the institution achieve lasting value from its initiatives.

The ITS Office of Finance, HR, and Central Receiving and Distribution oversees ITS budget, purchasing, Student Technology Fee, and the distribution of all daily sorting and processing of incoming and outgoing mail packages for the College.

The ITS Business Operations team supports the College by providing targeted training, developing operational policies, and instructional documentation to help the college community. Help Desk Service offers hands-on support to troubleshoot any issues and enhance learning and productivity.

Under the direction of the Chief Technology Officer, the divisions of IT Infrastructure Services, Networking, and Enterprise Applications are responsible for providing the foundational support required to sustain the college’s technology environment. These areas oversee the design, maintenance, and security of core communication and information systems, including email, telephony, QC Wi-Fi, enterprise applications, and the campus network infrastructure.

ITS Communications and Web Technology lead the strategy, development, and execution of Queens College’s digital presence, ensuring the website is accessible and effective for communication, recruitment, and community outreach. Our team supports campus initiatives through event documentation, video production, and live-streaming services, as well as cascade communications to the College community on ITS-related initiatives, service changes, and upgrades.

The ISO serves as the central hub for safeguarding the institution’s digital and technological environment. It provides leadership in developing policies, practices, and strategies that protect critical systems and information resources while supporting the mission of the college. The office works closely with academic, administrative, and technical units to help manage risks, ensure compliance with regulations, and promote a culture of responsibility around the use of technology. Beyond defense, the office also plays an advisory role, helping campus leaders make informed decisions about technology adoption, data governance, and operational resilience.

IT Security Specialist

The Academic and Research Technology Team is responsible for supporting and advancing the use of technology in teaching, learning, and scholarly activities across the college. The team provides expertise in instructional technologies, digital learning platforms, and research computing resources to ensure that faculty and researchers have access to effective and innovative tools. In addition to maintaining and enhancing academic systems, the team collaborates with academic departments and research units to align technology solutions with pedagogical goals and research priorities, strengthening the institution’s academic mission.
