The Department of Drama, Theater and Dance at Queens College is currently seeking a full-time Lecturer of Acting with expertise in Physical Theater, Stage Combat and Voice & Articulation. The ideal candidate must have a BA and a minimum of 3 years University level teaching experience, as well as a comprehensive portfolio of professional acting work, though an MFA is preferred. In addition to teaching Introductory Acting courses, Physical Theater, Dance/Drama Collaborative Workshop, Voice & Articulation and Introduction to Drama; the candidate will be expected to participate in the selection and development of our five-show season. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of Queer, Black and Latinx Theater and a commitment to serve the artists that represent our uniquely diverse student population. Student advising and departmental service is also required.
