Master of Arts in Teaching Childhood Education & Special Education (Grades 1-6) Dual Certification

The Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in Childhood and Special Education (Grades 1-6) is a 60-credit
program, which is a collaboration between two departments, Elementary and Early Childhood
(EECE) and Educational and Community Programs (ECP). This program is intended for students who do not have undergraduate preparation in education and do not have initial certification. This program leads to initial certification in both general and special education at the childhood level (Grades 1-6).
