SEYS: Clinical Experiences

Student Teaching is a time of guided professional field experience in which students acquire the necessary competencies to enter the teaching profession and an important part of teacher certification. Students in 7-12 programs are required to have two semesters of concentrated and supervised field experience in a middle school and high school setting. Programs in K-12 are required placement in Elementary and Secondary setting for certification with the New York State Education department.
