2-Session Career Playbook Planning Workshop

It is often difficult for students to figure out what to do after college and/or difficult to understand the industry in which a student wants to work in. They are not sure also what kind of skills are required to be successful. Students, then, are not well prepared for interviews.

Students are invited to attend this career workshop with Gerry Marotta, a Queens College Alum who has had a rewarding career on Wall Street and in IT strategy. Gerry will share her frameworks and career strategies for landing the job you want.

Don Chadwick, a recruiter, helps students to develop their networks and master the interview.

The sessions are in-person.

Session 1:

Understanding a career and how to develop it: career framework.

Understand industries you may want to work in.

Session 2:

Skills inventory and market assessment. What are the required skills?

What does the market want?

Easy Communication framework for internships and interviews.
