QC Navigate office hours – Fall 2021

The QC Navigate Onboarding and Training Team invites you to virtual office hours, where you will have an opportunity to learn more about this sophisticated platform for connecting with students and coordinating support.

Office hours will be held on the following Thursdays at 3 pm: October 28, November 18, and December 2. See session details below.

Sessions and Topics:

October 28: Navigate Intermediate Training (1 hour) covers valued-added features to find and connect with students that would most benefit from your support: PAL links, Saved Searches, Student Lists, Reminders, Alerts, and Cases. This topic is not necessary to start using the platform but helps build on what is possible. Basic Training is strongly recommended prior to attending. RSVP to get the Zoom link for the session.

November 18: Navigate Campaigns (1 hour) covers all things related to campaigns: how to launch, making adjustments after, messaging best practices, reports, and tips and quirks. Campaigns are a great way to reach out to specific students and encourage them to attend individual or group meetings. Basic Training is strongly recommended prior to attending this topic. December 16: Navigate Advanced Search (1 hour) covers all the ways to layer search parameters to create unique cohorts. This includes: majors, course data, performance data, and other academic data from CUNYfirst; popular categories/tags; advisor assignments; and other student interest data. February 19 2020 Navigate Office Hours and Analytics Luncheon

Join us for a visit from Josh Rosenblatt of EAB, who will have office hours from 10am to 12pm in Kiely 111A and will discuss analytics functions of Navigate Staff with us for the 12-1pm lunch hour.

Navigate went live on October 18, 2019!

Participants in our Go-Live activities included representatives from Academic Advising, SEEK, CUNY Edge, Veteran Support Services, and the Writing Center.
