Exercise Science and Human Performance

Undergraduate
The Exercise Science and Human Performance major at Queens College equips students to assess various populations; design and modify exercise programs for fitness, health, and performance goals. Students will gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills to become American College of Sports Medicine certified exercise physiologist and/or National Strength and Conditioning Association certified strength and conditioning specialists. Graduates with a degree in Exercise Science and Human Performance are well-prepared for careers in corporate wellness, commercial fitness, community health, athletic performance facilities, and research. They’re also ready to pursue advanced studies in fields such as exercise science, strength and conditioning, athletic training, physical therapy, and other allied health disciplines.
