Exercise Science and Human Performance
Undergraduate
The Exercise Science and Human Performance major at Queens College prepares students to conduct fitness assessments on various populations and design evidence-based exercise programs tailored to individual fitness, health, and performance goals. Through a curriculum grounded in theoretical knowledge and practical application, students develop the competencies required to pursue professional certification as an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist and/or NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Graduates are well-prepared for careers in corporate, community, and athletic performance settings, including roles supporting stable health conditions and research initiatives. The program also establishes a strong foundation for advanced study in exercise science, strength and conditioning, athletic training, physical therapy, and other allied health professions.
