The Ballroom.

Dining options on QC’s campus range from coffee bars and snack shops to formal banquet halls. These facilities, plus beverage and food services, are available for all manner of functions—weddings, receptions, cocktails, meetings, awards ceremonies, and more. Facilities may also be utilized for non-dining events, such as lectures or organization meetings.

President’s Residence

The Queens College President’s Residence is a hidden gem located on the waterfront in Douglaston, New York. This historic home built in 1910 overlooks the beautiful Bayside Marina and features an outdoor garden, a stunning great room with a baby grand piano, a butler’s pantry, and a sitting room. The space is ideal for weddings, cocktail/holiday/tea parties, book signings, art exhibits and much more!

This chic contemporary space can accommodate a maximum of 70 guests. The Conservatory at The Summit is a multipurpose space that can be transformed to fit any request, from a conference to a cocktail party.

Science Building Café

Located on the second floor of the facility, the café seats approximately 25. Offerings include a wide range of hot and cold beverages, fruit smoothies, as well as soups and grab-and-go options like salads and panini.

Student Union

QC’s Student Union building has a variety of spaces suitable for everything from casual get-togethers to black-tie affairs. Renters have access to portable sound systems; laptop computers; LCD, overhead, and slide projectors and screens; televisions with DVD and VHS; and temporary storage space. Catering is provided through QC’s dining services, and an underground garage offers parking for approximately 120 vehicles. Outdoor parking (when available) can accommodate an additional 60 vehicles.

Faculty & Staff Club

The Student Union’s Faculty & Staff Club is available for dining, cocktail, or networking events. This warmly colored, easily accessible ground-floor space features wainscoting, large windows, a variety of seating and table options, and a wall-mounted 40-inch flat-screen TV. Agora can comfortably host up to 75.

Ballroom

The Student Union building is home to a 700-person-capacity ballroom, which may be partitioned into three separate zones accommodating anywhere from 175 to 250. The multiuse space—suitable for celebrations and conferences alike—features carpeted dining and cocktail areas, five built-in LCD data projectors and screens with zoned sound and projection, a spacious hardwood dance floor, and a disco ball.

SA Diner

The SA Diner is tastefully furnished to resemble a 1950s eatery with retro-styled booths, tables, chairs, and bar counter and stools. The space can accommodate up to 150 guests and is perfect for anything from children’s parties to sock-hop fundraisers.

Dining Hall

Armstrong Alley/Q-Café is located in the west sector of the Dining Hall. The space can be arranged to host a mid-sized expo or be dressed to accommodate up to 800 guests for a cocktail reception. Klapper Circle, an outdoor venue adjacent to the Dining Hall, is also available for rent.

Corner Pocket

QC’s game room, the Corner Pocket, offers a variety of recreational activities for as many as 125. The room houses six billiards tables, three ping-pong tables, an air hockey table, a foosball table, and three flat-screen televisions connected to XBOX360, PlayStation 3, and Nintendo Wii gaming systems. A fourth flat-screen television offers Direct TV. The room is furnished with plush upholstered couches and chairs and is naturally lit with floor-to-ceiling windows.

Midway Court

Midway Court, centrally located within the Dining Hall, serves as a multipurpose space that can comfortably seat up to 250 guests and be set up to meet a wide range of customer needs.

Patio Room

An open, tiled-floor space, the Dining Hall’s Patio Room accommodates 120 for cocktail receptions and other mid-sized functions.

President’s Lounge

A luxurious location for intimate gatherings, the President’s Lounge is appointed with black leather sectionals, plush-upholstered chairs, throw pillows, a bar and bar stools, and a grand piano. Maximum occupancy is 30.

Q-Side

A 75-person capacity dining or meeting space, Q-Side features parquet floors, movable tables and chairs, and large, curtained windows providing ample natural light.

Vendor Table Locations

The Dining Hall at QC houses a spacious hallway, adjoining the Corner Pocket and Patio Room or vestibule between Armstrong Alley and Midway Court, perfect for conferences’ vendor table and mingling areas.
