Experience
Comes to the department of psychology with over 20 years of varied experience in teaching both graduate and undergraduate psychology courses at Queens College, The College of Staten Island, New York University, and Westchester Community College. As well as over 20 years in the role of physical fitness trainer.
Research interests
Main areas of study and research are in behavior analysis, child learning, fitness, and exercise. Research interests are in the areas of athletic performance enhancement; coaching behavior; and the mental and physical benefits of exercise and fitness for children and adults. In a society where life is becoming more technology driven, fast passed, and sedentary, it is important to learn how to incorporate fitness and exercise for the maintenance of wellbeing and help in meeting the challenges of day to day life.
