The School of Arts is thrilled to partner with the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation to invigorate public spaces with a vibrant array of arts programming. This collaboration aims to activate parks across Queens with diverse, inclusive, and dynamic arts events, enriching community experiences and promoting cultural vibrancy throughout the borough.

As part of this exciting partnership, the Queens College School of Arts will transform local parks into thriving centers of creativity and engagement. The program features both emerging and professional artists from Queens College, offering a rich lineup of performances and workshops spanning music, dance, and visual arts. Throughout the season, parks in the Rockaways, Forest Park, Highland Park, Southeast Queens, District 7A, and Flushing Meadows Corona Park will host a variety of free events. This initiative not only provides enriching cultural experiences for the community but also offers valuable professional opportunities for Queens College School of Arts students and recent graduates.
