CPT Applications Are Currently Paused
On August 12 and August 24, 2026, the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) issued two broadcast messages clarifying the requirements for F-1 Curricular Practical Training (CPT). Queens College has paused CPT applications while it reviews its process in light of this guidance.
Do not submit a CPT application or begin an internship or other off-campus practical training without authorization from ISSO. If practical training is required to complete your degree, contact ISSO at iss@qc.cuny.edu for guidance before committing to a placement or start date.
